A 39-year-old air-hostess allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the terrace of her residence in south Delhi’s Hauz Khas area of the national capital. The incident took place at around 4:30 on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Anissia Batra. She was employed in German airline. According to The Hindu, DCP (South) Romil Baaniya said that the deceased had sent a text to her husband about taking the extreme step minutes before she jumped off the terrace. Reading the message Anissa’s husband, who was at home at that time, immediately reached the terrace but couldn’t find her.

Anissia was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead. The police have launched a probe in the case.
