After watching movies like Transformers and Real Steel, in which the robots show their fighting prowess, you may have had this sudden desire to own one of your own, at least once. However, being aware of the VFX and graphical alterations which go in the making of such movies, you have to control the urge. However, if not so big, you can own a small and spanking fighting robot if you are ready to spend $1600 (approximately Rs 1,10,000).
That price tag may look a tad intimidating but when Zeus Battle Robot was showcased at the CES event in January, it sure managed to grab a great number of eyeballs.
Developed by Pilot Lab, the Zeus Battle Robot comes with a wireless controller for manoeuvring it with your fingertips. This is added by the battery, charger and case. Dimensionally, it possesses 14-inch height and weighs roughly 2 kilos. For moving several minute parts of its machined body, 22 motors have been put on duty across various joints.

Apart from the controller, you can also command Zeus with the help of Alexa voice control, it sees through computer vision while the company claims it employes futuristic AI capabilities as well. On a single charge, Zeus has been claimed to keep fighting for 50 minutes, continuously.
You can buy Zeus through Amazon at the aforementioned price tag. People willing to spend that much money would definitely get something to show off apart from the chance to win some bucks by winning the ‘international fighting robot competition’ which Pilot Lab will be organising in the coming days.
