A Class-12 student, who was stabbed by his classmates at a private school in Jind, died on Sunday night at the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, the police said. The deceased has been identified as Ankush, 18, who studied at the Indus Public School in Pillu Khera town in Jind. Haryana finance minister Captain Abhimanyu’s family owns the school.
The deceased was identified as Ankush, aged 18, a student of Indus Public School, Pillu Khera town, Jind. The tragic incident occurred on Saturday morning when the victim along with his four friends was stabbed and thrashed by another four of his classmates. The major reason behind the brutal attack was that the accused held grudge against the victim and four friends over a petty fight they had last day.

The police said the four accused had brought knives in their school bags and attacked the five victims when the teacher left the class. They stopped only when the faculty intervened and fled the spot threatening to ‘finish them later’. The police said the victim, Ankush, was stabbed in his stomach and back. One of his friends also suffered critical wounds. Following the incident, both were admitted to Post Graduate Institute Of Medical Science in Rohtak from where Ankush was shifted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram where he died late last night
The police have charged the four accused under section 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 324 (causing hurt by dangerous weapons) and 506(criminal intimidation). Section 302 (murder) was added to the FIR after Ankush died.
All the accused are reportedly minors and will be arrested soon
