After Janhvi’s Dhadak now it’s Khushi Kapoor’s turn.
Yes, the recent buzz is that the Young girl in Kapoor’s family also all set for her Bollywood Debut.
Boney Kapoor, in a recent interview, revealed that his younger daughter Khushi Kapoor is following in her sister Janhvi’s footsteps and is focusing on becoming an actress.
The producer said, “Khushi first wanted to become a model – but has now shifted her focus to becoming an actress.”Boney also revealed how Sridevi didn’t want Janhvi to enter films because of the unpredictability of the profession, among other reasons.
Talking about it, he said, “The unpredictability of the profession was one reason. Sri was a perfectionist, so she put in a lot of hard work— so yeah, she felt that Janhvi should enjoy what her parents have achieved and if at all want to start working, should get into a profession where there is a comfort. We have no fixed hours here, you see glitter and glamour on screen- but it’s not easy to set up and enact all that.
”So was it him who motivated Janhvi to choose acting as her profession?“I wouldn’t say that I motivated Janhvi. I encouraged her to let her do what she wants. Why curb someone’s natural instincts? Like for one, I didn’t know until Salman (Khan) told me that Arjun has it in him to become an actor,” he said.
Janhvi’s debut film Dhadak is currently successfully running in the cinemas. Dhadak, an official adaptation of the much-loved 2016 Marathi film Sairat, hit the screens on July 20. In four days, the film has earned around Rs 40 crore. It is directed by Shashank Khaitan of Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame.
