The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is now leading on 91 seats, whereas, the PML-N is trailing way behind at 50. The PPP of Bilawal Bhutto is ahead on 32 constituencies. Notably, the combined tally of non-aligned candidates, which has surged to 61 until the last updates were released by ECP, has now been scaled down to 48.

With the fresh updates, Imran Khan’s party is 36 seat-count away from securing the majority mark.

Pollster claim it is unlikely that Imran Khan will cross the majority mark of 137 seats, as trends of 184 constituencies have indicated a fractured verdict. While PTI is poised as the single largest party with leads on 64 seats so far, the PML-N is ahead on 46. The PPP, meanwhile, is leading on 28. Notably, the non-aligned candidates are ahead on 50 seats.

The possibility of Imran Khan is the next Prime Minister remains intact as the independents, along with regional parties, are likely to extend support to him rather than the PML-N due to the popular vote seemingly being in his favour.
