BJP Says Kerala and Bengal Not too Far Behind in Mob Killings

Loksabha witnessed some serious debates today as BJP raised its defense against the allegations of mob lynching in states ruled by them. Today they hit back at the opposition saying that even states like Kerala and Bengal, not ruled by BJP aren’t far behind in Mob killings.

It was Kirit Somayya in Zero hour who raised the issue. He said mob attacks in Bengal and Kerala have consumed lives. Kalyan Banerjee and Idris Ali from Trinamool Congress protested against this statement.  M.Ps of the left front also raised their dissenting voice. Members of Trinamool Congress soon came to the centre of the hall and the situation almost slipped into a physical confrontation.

Minister of Parliamentary affairs, Ananth Kumar tried to pacify the members but it was all in vain. speaker Sumithra Mahajan was soon forced to stop the proceedings.
