Xiaomi Pocophone F1 to be Released Soon. Know All About it Here

Xiaomi is reportedly gearing up to launch a new lineup of smartphones under a new brand known as ‘Pocophone’. Now, a new leak has emerged online that reveals some key specs and prices of its first smartphone. According to a tweet by a known tipster Roland Quandt, the upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi’s new lineup will be known as the Pocophone F1. The new lineup is reported to be meant for the Eastern European and Indian markets. The phone will be available in Grey and Blue colour options.

Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has been developed by the company under the code name ‘Beryllium’. It has been known that the phone will feature an LCD display in an 18:9 screen aspect ratio. Rumours suggest that Pocophone F1 could sport a 5.99-inch display, with a notch on top, and a screen resolution of 2160×1080 pixels.

This phone will be based on MIUI 9, over and above Android 8.1, and could sport a 4000mAh battery. Given the Snapdragon 845 processor, some reports claim that Pocophone F1 could support Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0. The phone is expected to launch as Xiaomi’s fourth flagship of 2018.

Although Pocophone F1 may not be the cheapest smartphone with Snapdragon 845 SoC in India, it would be the cheapest one in Europe. The prices of the variants have been made public by leakster Roland Quandt on Twitter. “Xiaomi Pocophone F1 will seemingly be cheap as chips… listing in eastern Euroland for ~420 Euro (6/64GB) and ~460 Euro (6/128GB) (prices converted). If it really has an SDM845 that pricing would be really impressive for a device with a 5.99in 2160x1080px screen,” he tweeted.
