State Women’s Commision M.C Josephine has been at the receiving end of some serious cyber attack. It was about the Women’s commission’s sitting in Kozhikode and the alleged comments that she made there which infuriated a section of the cyber bullies. But it seems the bullies had manipulated her statement and deliberately made her a target.
M.C Josephine was asked her opinion about both the issue of Entry of women into Sabarimala and about Confession in Chruches. She had said that both are customs that had been there for a long time and said let the society discuss it in detail. She also added that she doesn’t want to make more comments on it as the issue is currently under the court.

But a few channels and pages had manipulated her words and made it into a form that said She was all happy for the proposed entry of women into Sabarimala while she vehemently opposed any change to the system of confession. As soon as the word spread, a group of people launched an attack on her with obscene comments.
Even M. C Josephine’s daughter and family members were not spared. She had also come out saying that there should be action taken against those who tried to defame Hanan, the girl who became an overnight internet sensation. This had infuriated another section, who also joined the band of people who abused Hanan.
