Jhanvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan are currently enjoying the success of Dhadak. Recently, the stars were spotted at the success bash of the film. Dhadak which released on 20th July 2018 is doing great at the box office.
At their press conference for the success of the film, Janhvi cried in the bathroom when she read negative reviews. However, the actress also expressed her gratitude for all the positive reviews she received.
The film which is a remake of the 2016 Marathi film Sairat, has collected over Rs 50 crore at the box office. Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor who gave her debut performance and has garnered positive reviews for her role including Ishaan Khatter’s performance. The two who share awesome chemistry on-screen have also made it to the cover of the Filmfare magazine.
At the success press conference, Janhvi Kapoor talked about reading the reviews revealed what she felt whenever she read a positive and a negative review about herself. She said, “I did a yay 100 times when they praised me and cried in the bathroom when it was a nay”. Janhvi had also once said that though people are attached to Sairat and love the film, however, she urged the audience to give Dhadak a chance.
