This is What CPI(M) State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan Said About Recent Developments in Lavalin Case

After a long time, Lavalin case once again is becoming the talking point of Kerala’s public. Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had recently stated that the high court’s verdict to acquit Pinarayi Vijayan from the charges were made without considering all the facts. The agency wanted the chief minister of Kerala to undergo trial.

Meanwhile, CPI(M)State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that the BJP and Congress have a political agenda and it is their combined effort, the reason why Lavalin case has come up again. The move is politically motivated. Lavalin does come up during Election times and with LokSabha elections coming up, this is now being used as a political tool, said Koiyeri Balakrishnan.

Pinarayi Vijayan is not a culprit in Lavalin case. Like it was proved in CBI court, Kodiyeri said Pinarayi Vijayan’s innocence will be proved in Supreme Court as well.
