The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday awarded fan of the week award to a two-year-old from Bangladesh. ICC’s Instagram account on Thursday uploaded a video where a two-year-old Ali can be seen doing batting practice with his father. While his father sends him throw-downs, the boy can be seen dedicatedly trying to play everything on the off-side. His cover drivers looked amazing for someone his age. And unsurprisingly ICC took notice of the prodigy who they felt can someday be good enough to represent the Bangladesh national team on the international level. Watch the video here:
He’s only two, but his off-side technique is absolutely gorgeous ?
Strike a pose Ali – you are the ICC’s Fan of the Week! With some more throw-downs from dad, you could very well be playing for Bangladesh one day ??? pic.twitter.com/wXMdeOpAAw

ICC later posted a remix of Ali’s batting video with some match commentary and fan footage from the stadium in the background. In what can be a positive sign for promoting cricket as a global sport, talents like Ali are being spotted early and need to be nurtured in the right manner to make it big in the sport.
