A lot of actors in different film industries in India were sidelined as they happened to earn dislikes from the superstars of the industry. Popular actor Devan, who essayed many villain roles across all south Indian languages has come out saying that the superstars hated him and sidelined him for a different reason.
Devan says his strong physique and handsomeness cost him many chances in the film as superstars felt intimidated that he will grab all the eyeballs. Superstars didn’t want the villain to get more attention than the main actor and it is for this reason he was neglected on many occasions.

In an interview given to a Malayalam channel, he said he had acted with many popular actors and that it is a great achievement for someone like him who never had any interest to act.
Devan, had his hands full with many movies in the industry, but he disappeared from the films all of a sudden. He has proved his acting prowess through many roles he has done over the years both as a supporting actor and as a villain.
