Wireless handsets capable of receiving messages sent from Police handsets have been seized from a private firm in Karamana, Trivandrum. The two handsets were operated without a license and a case will be registered against the firm which held the handset. Police explained that their secret messages were not leaked even though they were in possession of the handset capable of doing it.

It was in a shop for selling spare parts in Kaimanam near Karamana that the handsets were found. Two weeks before police officials noticed that their messages had interference from a third party wireless and an investigation was initiated which culminated in the seizure of the handset.
