Infiltration Bid Foiled As Army Major And Jawans Lay Down Their Lives

The Indian Army had foiled an infiltration bid by the enemies by laying down the lives of their brave jawans.

In an ongoing encounter in the Gurez sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, 3 jawans and 1 Major have been martyred TODAY.

The encounter reportedly began after eight militants attacked an Army patrol party this morning. While four militants were gunned down, the remaining four managed to escape.

It has been reported on Sunday that 20 militants of  Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba are planning to target Indian Army camps in Jammu and Kashmir on or before August 15.

It has also been reported that around 600 militants are stationed at various along the Line of Control and right up to Jammu, and are planning to infiltrate into Indian territories.

A Home Ministry official said that these terrorists have the backing of Pakistan Army. He said some of these groups also comprise Pakistan Army jawans who are ready for BAT action on the Indian Army.
