Most of us would be wondering if Imran Khan is the right person to lead Pakistan, and what that would mean to India.
Well, fear not. PK has assured that Imran Khan is indeed the ‘ right number’.
At least his lookalike did.

Whether Indian superstar actor Aamir Khan is visiting Pakistan and attending Imran Khan’s oath-taking as Prime Minister of Pakistan or not remains in question, but Pakistan’s ‘PK’ certainly made an attempt to visit Bani Gala and greet Imran Khan on his historic win.
Unfortunately, he could not succeed in his venture and after waiting awhile outside the prime minister-in-waiting’s residence, PK had to return to his ‘gola’ (planet) in Karachi.
Sherry, who bears a strong resemblance to Aamir Khan’s character PK in the movie of the same name, on Saturday pulled quite a crowd outside Imran’s home in Bani Gala area. In looks, style and speech, he resembles PK — the funny but iconic lead from the 2014 blockbuster Bollywood movie — in every way.

According to the Pakistani PK, his search was over and finally, he had come to meet his ‘right number’ in Islamabad. “People responded to my call and overwhelmingly voted Imran Khan and his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to power, in the July 25 general elections,” this PK claimed.
Dressed in a white shirt and donning a yellow helmet on his head, the PK lookalike wasn’t just the focus of the media’s attention, but also that of the policemen and PTI workers outside Imran’s residence. He also wore rosaries in various styles and sizes around his neck and amulets on his arms, while chewing paan or betel leaf, all of which are emulated from the on-screen PK. This PK was also distributing pamphlets to the public gathered there, again, just like the screen version.
Talking to media persons briefly in a Bhojpuri accent, PK said Imran is the ‘right number’ and that’s why the masses elected him. After his landslide victory in the general elections, Imran had a historic chance to deliver on his promises. PK says he is the man who could transform the country into a progressive, prosperous state, in accordance with the vision of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He hopes Imran will deliver. “I have come to this gola all the way from Karachi gola to congratulate Imran Khan,” PK told journalists.
Asked to name some ‘wrong numbers’, PK said everyone knew who the wrong number in Pakistan was and that he didn’t need to name anyone. He said also said that there are ‘missing numbers’, by which he meant water reservoirs that the country badly needed.
“I call upon Imran Khan to declare a water emergency in the country immediately after assuming office, as people are crying for water in Karachi and rest of the country.”
Although those outside Imran’s residence took selfies with PK, his charm didn’t work on the security personnel, who wouldn’t let him in. Thus, PK had to eventually return without seeing his ‘right number’
