Congress President Rahul Gandhi once again became a butt of jokes by winking during a rally in Jaipur on Saturday. After addressing the rally in Jaipur, Gandhi scion was reportedly seen winking at his party member Sachin Pilot.
On Saturday, Rahul addressed a rally in Rajasthan to campaign for the party for the upcoming state elections and the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In a video shot at the rally, Rahul can be seen winking to party’s state chief Sachin Pilot. Soon after the wink, Sachin Pilot hugged AICC general secretary and former chief minister Ashok Gehlot on the stage. Watch the wink here

Recent controversy over the chief ministerial face of the Congress had started. Pilot, the party’s Rajasthan chief, said it will contest the elections under Gandhi’s leadership. While party leader Lalchand Kataria said Gehlot, a former chief minister, should be projected as the chief ministerial candidate to save the Congress in Rajasthan, which goes to polls at year end.
On Saturday, PM Modi spoke about the infamous hug incident in parliament. He told ANI: “It is for you to judge whether it was a childish act or not. And if you are unable to decide, watch the wink and you will get the answer.”
On Rahul Gandhi’s jibe that GST was Gabbar Singh Tax, PM said: “The Congress President tried his best to provoke people against GST during Gujarat elections, why did the people reject him?”
