After addressing the nation on the 72nd Independence Day at Red Fort in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi forgot or deliberately broke his security protocols and cover to meet some excited school children. While leaving the 17th-century Mughal era monument Modi got down from his car and went into the middle of school children assembled there.

Soon the crowd of students began to build up and the security officers had to step in before the situation became uncontrollable. Thousands of schoolchildren wearing saffron, white and green-colored tracksuits and matching caps, made a ‘Bharat’ formation and waited patiently as Modi delivered his speech, which lasted for more than an hour.
The Prime Minister had greeted the children during the Independence Day celebrations last year as well and similarly swamped by the over-enthusiastic crowd.
