Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit the flood-hit Kerala to analyze the situation in the state on Friday. Central Minister from Kerala Alphonse Kannanthanam has confirmed this news. P.M will reach by Friday evening and will visit the flood-affected areas on Saturday. Kannanthanam said that the Prime minister has assured to give all that Kerala asks.
P.M will also have a meeting with the Chief Minister of Kerala. As per the official reports, the death toll in Kerala from flood stands at 94. There are about 166539 people in about 1155 camps across Kerala. Efforts to save people are progressing as the army, disaster response force and the locals have joined hands to carry on with the rescue operation.
