Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is in critical condition, according to the latest medical report released.
India’s 10th Prime Minister was in the hospital for the past 9 weeks, and his health condition has deteriorated over the last 24 hours and is critical.
This was made known through the latest medical report released by the AIIMS. The statement stated that Vajpayee is on life support.
Vajpayee, a diabetic patient, was admitted to the hospital on June 11 with a kidney tract infection, chest congestion and urine output on the lower side.

The statement was issued hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited AIIMS last evening to inquire about the condition of the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who is undergoing treatment there.
PM Modi reached the hospital at around 7.15 pm and spent about 50 minutes there. This was PM Modi’s fourth visit to Vajpayee in AIIMS since he has been admitted.
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, BJP lawmaker Meenakshi Lekhi, and Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani had visited the hospital to check on Vajpayee.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP National President Amit Shah visited Vajpayee on Saturday.
