Eminent personalities from all fields of life in India have urged people to contribute to the Chief Ministers distress Relief Fund to help the people of Kerala. Tamil actor Surya and his younger brother were one of the first among actors to have announced their contribution for helping people of Kerala, while Actor Vishal, after contributing 10 lakhs to the fund, did something different.

Vishal and his friends have visited Madhura Meenaxi temple and offered special Poojas for the people of Kerala. He had finished shooting for his upcoming film Sandakozhi 2 and the next day he visited the temple.
Vishal had recently acted in a Malayalam film Villain alongside Mohanlal. His performance in the film was well appreciated by the Malayalis audience.
