Help has been pouring in for Kerala from all sides but with so many people trapped and so many adversities to fight, nothing seems enough.
President of BJP Kerala, P.S Sreedharan Pillai has now said that if the Government shows any delay in entrusting the rescue works to the military, he will approach the court. He said whenever other states met with similar calamities, the army has taken over and the obstinacy in the case of Kerala is a serious mistake.
The state BJP President said in other states, the similar situation was contained by corodinating different sections under Military, while in Kerala, different sections are heading the operations and is using the army to carry out the rescue mission. He said this method has failed, as exemplified by the plight of Chengannur.
Chengannur is one of those places that was badly hit by the flood. It is believed that thousands of people are still trapped there.
