Kerala Flood: Woman Refuses to Go With People Who Came to Rescue Her, The Reason Will Surprise You

How determined are you to save your pet animals even when you are staring at death? This lady in Kerala, Sunitha, apparently would go to any extent to make sure that the25 dogs she was protecting are taken to safety along with her. The rescue workers had earlier complained that some of the people refused to board helicopters while Sunitha presented a completely different reason to stay back.

Sunitha, from Thrissur, is very fond of the 25 street dogs she had rescued. When the animal welfare board members came to her house, the dogs were covered under a blanket, under the watchful eyes of Sunitha. She sent back the volunteers and rescue workers saying she won’t come without the dogs. She then contacted Human Society International, who came and eventually saved both the lady and the dogs. Currently, they are in a relief camp.
Human Societ International said that once the water recedes, they will find money to make a kennel for all the dogs.
