Funds pour in from different states, communities, and people to help the flood-hit Kerala. PM Modi too, grant financial relief.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently aerial viewing the state of Kerala. His survey trip was supposed to begin earlier in the day at 08:00 AM in Kochi, only to be canceled due to the heavy rains and bad weather.

As the death toll rises from 200 to 334, PM Modi grants the interim relief of Rs. 500 crores. He also held a high-level meeting with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and other ministers to discuss the flood situation.

It has come to light that CM Pinarayi Vijayan sought an emergency aid of Rupees 2,000 crore from the Centre saying that the state suffers losses of Rupees 25,000 crore.
Currently, many people are trapped within their houses and are unable to escape as neither can they come out, nor can the rescue team reach them.
Meanwhile, in some places, the water has receded, and locals hope it remains the same.
