Having picked Pujara at the stroke of the lunch, England may have been the happier side going into the lunch but the second session belonged completely to team India.
Under bright and sunny conditions, English bowlers toiled as two of India’s best Batsmen in overseas conditions -Kohli and Rahane stitched together a wonderful partnership. India scored 107 runs in the session at a rate of 3.65 taking the overall score to 189 for 3 wickets.

Kohli 51 off 91 and Rahane 53 off 96 punished the loose balls and gave ample respect to good balls. With no support from the conditions, English seamers looked lost while the lone spinner Rashid couldn’t settle on to a proper line and length. India should look to bat long and bat once, but in England, wickets fall in a cluster. So Indian Batsmen needs to be wary of it.
