Director AR Murugadoss donated Rs 10 lakhs to Kerala flood relief fund. The filmmaker is currently wrapping up the shooting of Thalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar and will soon begin with the post-production of it. Since the film has marked the reunion of director AR Murugadoss and Vijay after Kaththi and Thupakki, the expectations from the film are sky-high.
Talking about the film, the director had earlier said, After Thupakki and Kaththi, we wanted to give something new and better to the audience, and hence we came up with this film called Sarkar. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Johny Tri Nguyen, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles.
The teaser of the film is expected to come out on September 13 during the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and the film will hit the screens during the festive weekend of Diwali..
