Minister of Forest, K Raju who went to Germany to attend the World Malayalee Association’s meeting in the midst of an unmatched Calamity in Kerala will face severe consequences including what looks like a probable expulsion from his ministership.

Raju was entrusted with the responsibilities of leading the relief programmes in Kottayam district, but he preferred to be in Germany to attend the meeting of World Malayalee Association. Kottayam district had a red alert.
The minister from CPI was recalled by his party but as he couldn’t get a ticket on time, the minister is still stuck in Germany. A Malayalam media reported that that CPI State Secretary Kaanam Rajendran had said that he is extremely unhappy with the minister’s irresponsible act.
