Kerala DGP Loknath Behera has warned that trespassing illegally into the distress relief camps and spreading the fake news through Internet will land you in jail. He said he will ensure safety and discipline in camps. There will be police protection in all camps to make sure social miscreants are not entering the scene. If one has to enter the camp, the approval of the police and a committee involving locals are necessary.

Behera also employed the Intelligence department to observe and take action against people who overprice the commodities. Crime branch will take a case against people who resort to such activities. Every S.P in the state has been given orders to take care of this. Police will adopt 6000 families in the flood-hit areas. The force will be with those affected families and guide them throughout. Behera said he himself will adopt three families.
Police has also been asked to make sure if there are families left where rescue works haven’t reached yet. More police on patrol will be employed to make sure there is no theft happening. 30000 policemen are employed to clean houses, they will also collect the materials needed to clean.
