In a shocking incident, a woman was stipped, assaulted and paraded naked in Bihar’s Bihiya town on Monday for her alleged involvement in the murder of a youth. Following the incident, eight police officials including the Station House Officer, Bahiya, were suspended.
The body of a youth, identified as Vimlesh Sav, was recovered on the railway tracks on Monday morning. It was suspected that Vimlesh was murdered. Angered by the murder, a mob stripped the woman and thrashed her mercilessly on suspicion of being involved in the crime.

The mob also resorted to vandalism and pelted stones at several trains after which police had to fire in the air to disperse the crowd.
