It was only a matter of few minutes before India took the remaining one wicket of James Anderson, win the test match and make it 2-1 in the series. There is plenty to feel proud of in the current victory, but Virat Kohli’s words at the presentation ceremony would mean a lot to the flood-hit people of Kerala.
Kohli said he dedicates this victory to the men of Kerala and that they have been through a lot of hardships. Surely his words would help the news of Flood spread further and will hopefully translate into more donations to CM’s distress relief fund.

India won the test match 203 runs and Virat Kohli won the man of the Match award for his 97 and 103 in first and second innings. Hardik Pandya’s inspired spell in which he picked five wickets in 6 overs, Bumrah’s second innings fifer and Rahane’s partnership with Kohli proved key in India’s success.
No team except Bradman’s Australia has ever come after trailing 0-2 to win a test series. But Indian team will surely try to do it in the next two test matches.
