Union minister Uma Bharti’s personal security officer committed suicide on Wednesday night. The minister’s PSO died after shooting himself dead with a service pistol. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Police informed the media about the incident on Thursday.
According to the details available, the security guard has been identified as Rammohan Dauneriya. India Today reported that Dauneriya committed suicide after having an altercation with his wife.

Reports said Dauneriya and his wife were taken a police station after the incident. At the police station, another altercation started and Dauneriya shot himself with his service revolver.
The policeman was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead. An investigation has been ordered in the matter.
