Northern regions of Kerala witnessed heavy rains on Tuesday also. The Met department has forewarned of heavy monsoon spell on Wednesday.
Red Alert has been declared for the day in Kannur and Kasargod while Orange alert has been declared in Kozhikode. There was let-up in rains in South Kerala on Tuesday. There were slight rains in certain areas though.
