The left in Kerala has found themselves in a spot of confusion. The general public in Kerala are mostly devotees and do not enjoy their religious symbols or deities being despised, while the fundamental and core principles of the Left supports materialism and completely dismisses spiritualism.
The Left, if left to their own principles, run the risk of distancing themselves from the devotees, as it happened in the issue of Sabarimala young women entry. So every now and then, they find themselves in a spot to make it seem like they stand for the believers.
On this Krishnashtami day(birthday of Lord Krishna) the left supporters have made yet another comical attempt to make Lord Krishna a communist!
A picture is being widely shared on social media, where a flex with a birthday message for Lord Krishna is printed in Malayalam. We are not sure when this flex was made, it could well be a few years old. The message reads:
“For social justice, against upper-caste feudalism…
Even fought alone against his own uncle…
Happy birthday to the revolutionist” says the message. Check out the picture(below)
