Pala: CPI(M) State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, in an attempt to ensure Christian votes at Pala, asked why the central government is not inviting Pope Francis to India, despite multiple requests from Christian Religious leaders. He was speaking at the campaign for election at Pala.
“The message central government is giving by not inviting Pope Francis is very clear,” he added.
