Home Minister and National President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of the census building in the national capital Delhi on Monday. He pledged the census data would be digitized fully by 2021 to minimize paper usage.
Shah said that the entire building of the census will be a green building. He stressed the need for green buildings in India referring to the present scenario of climate change in India.
