Three Malayali nurses in Maharashtra have been confirmed of the virus. The nurses in Pune and Mumbai have been diagnosed with the disease. Soon after the nurse of Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune tested positive, 36 nurses who came in contact with her have been placed under quarantine.
Earlier four nurses of the hospital were confirmed of the virus. The nurse contracted the disease after coming in contact with them. Almost 60 nurses in Mumbai were confirmed of the virus.
