Lock your Cars!…Vehicle thieves thrive during Covid lockdown,report:

The lockdown period is looked upon as a huge opportunity by the vehicle thieves. The cars are lying unattended for two months in the parking area and reports of missing vehicles had spiked during the lockdown period.

Authorities have reiterated the need to be aware of locking vehicles and ensuring to take the keys with you after exiting the car. Police say 72 percent of the lost cars had their keys nearby with their owners not checking the vehicle regularly.
