Covid-19 Updates: Coronavirus death toll rises to 61,000 in Brazil

1,252 coronavirus deaths were reported in Brazil in the last 24 hours. Thus the total number of deaths due the infection in the country has rised to 61,884. In the last 24 hours, 48,105 new coronavirus cases has been also reported, taking the total number of infection to 1,496,858.

Brazil continues to be the second-worst  hit country after USA by the coronavirus pandemic.
