The UK is well known for its museums, pubs, fish and chips, castles and historical places. London Eye, Stonehedge, Royal Palace, famous museums and many others are very well known and popular attractions. But if you want to experience something different, we’d recommend visiting some of the below mentioned unusual places, that you probably didn’t even know exist in the UK.
Britain is truly incredible. You wouldn’t think it, but our fair little island is home to some pretty breathtaking and awe-inspiring things like stratosphere touching mountains and glittering lagoon. As the roughly 36 million visitors to our shores each year can attest, what we have on our very doorsteps is a wealth of medieval structures and modernist architecture, ancient museums and designer boutiques, wild style and refined culture, wild landscapes and cultivated gardens, natural wonders and thriving cities; the list goes on.
Some of the beautiful places to visit in this collection will be of all natural sights you can find while traveling around the world, while the others have experienced human interference – but even in these cases, the result of such collaboration is spectacular.
