A low intensity earthquake has hit Maharashtra. The National Centre for Seismology has informed this. The earthquake measuring 2.6 magnitude on the Richter Scale has hit Pune district in Maharashtra at 7.28 pm on Tuesday. The earthquake has its epicenter at a depth of 12 km in Purandar taluka, located 21 km south-east of Pune.
No casualty or damage to property was reported yet.
