The Supreme Court rejected to postpone this year’s Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2022) exams on Thursday, citing the risk of ‘chaos and uncertainty’ among students if the exams are delayed.
GATE is a test that assesses a student’s overall mastery of numerous undergraduate engineering and scientific disciplines in preparation for entrance to a master’s programme and employment by some government agencies.
