Nearly 50 years ago, at the Playboy house, a US jury found Bill Cosby guilty of sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
Cosby, 84, was incarcerated in 2018 but was released the following year after being accused of assault by numerous women. For sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004, Cosby received a sentence.
For allegedly sexually assaulting her in the 1970s when she was 16 years old, Judy Huth had brought a lawsuit against Cosby. Huth had claimed that Cosby had raped her in a bedroom at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy home and had coerced her into drinking.
After allegations of molestation dating back to 1975 were proven, Judy Huth was given a $500,000 damage compensation.
‘After she sat down on the bed, he pounced and he started trying to shove his hands down her trousers,’ attorney Nathan Goldberg told the US jury.
Goldberg testified in court that Cosby showed his penis and made her masturbate him. Cosby’s attorneys, however, disputed Huth’s claim after Huth altered the date the incident occurred, and Cosby denied any assault.
When the initial claims against the former comic appeared in 2014, Huth, who is now 64, filed his first lawsuit against Cosby.
