After a protracted investigation hearing on Tuesday, a Tunisian judge decided against holding Rached Ghannouchi in custody and instead let him to return home, according to Ghannouchi’s attorney and a representative of his Ennahda party.
Ghannouchi is under investigation for possible money laundering, which he and Ennahda deny and claim is a political witch hunt.
