Mumbai: The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) announced the Team India for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup. The selectors have also announced the squad for the upcoming T20I series against Australia and South Africa.
Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel were called back to the Indian squad. Axar Patel replaced the injured Ravindra Jadeja. Rohit Sharma has been named as the Indian captain and KL Rahul as the vice captain. Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant have been picked as the wicket-keeper batter choices.

The selectors also announced 4 stand by players, which include veteran paceman Mohammed Shami, all-rounder Deepak Chahar, spinner Ravi Bishnoi and top order batter Shreyas Iyer.
