An accident occurred when a man and a woman who were paragliding in Varkala in rural Thiruvananthapuram became stuck on a high-mast light post.
The two tourists were hooked on the pole while paragliding near Varkala’s Papanasham beach, informed the police.
Firefighters and law enforcement officers saved them. The couple was taken to a local hospital.
