J P Nadda, the president of the BJP, nominated ten party leaders to the organization’s national leadership on Saturday, including numerous former state unit bosses. According to a party announcement, the new national executive members are Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Deepak Prakash, Satish Punia, and Sanjay Jaiswal, all of whom are previous BJP presidents in Telangana, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, and Bihar.
Other appointees include Suresh Kashyap, Vishnudeo Sai, and Ashwani Sharma, who led the party in Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Punjab before being superseded by the incumbents. Other members include Chhattisgarh BJP leader Dharamlal Kaushik, former Andhra Pradesh BJP president Somu Veerraju, and Rajasthan politician Kirodi Lal Meena, according to a party release.
