Naval sailor found hanging onboard INS Vikrant

According to this defence release, a 19-year-old naval sailor was discovered hanging onboard INS Vikrant in the wee hours of Thursday.

It added that a statutory Board of Inquiry has been ordered into the incident and that, on the surface, it looks to be a suicide case.

According to sources, the single sailor is from Muzaffarpur, Bihar. They said that a case had been reported to the area police.
