On Friday, income tax raids were taking place at the offices of the home appliance manufacturer Haier.
The findings state that the company’s locations in Delhi, Mumbai, Noida, Pune, and a few other cities were the target of the searches.
Sources claim that the Chinese-owned company Haier is accused of engaging in widespread tax cheating.
