An official reported that a former GRP constable attempted suicide by hanging on Saturday in Maharashtra’s Palghar district.
The police officer attempted to hang himself from his home’s ceiling fan, but his five-year-old kid sounded the alarm, prompting neighbours to hurry to the scene. The police officer was given a hospital room.
The authority noted that more investigation is being conducted.
