A curfew has been imposed in Haryana’s Nuh district after violence broke out during a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession. Two home guards were killed and several others, including policemen, were injured as a mob attempted to stop the procession by pelting stones and setting cars on fire. Following the incident, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible. The situation in Nuh remains tense, prompting authorities to enhance security in the district and surrounding areas. However, there were no reports of fresh violence on Tuesday. Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij confirmed the imposition of the curfew to control the situation. The incident has led to heightened security measures to prevent further escalation of violence in the region.
