In a thrilling clash at the Gachibowli Stadium, Chennaiyin FC clinched a well-deserved 1-0 victory against Hyderabad FC, marking their first triumph in the 2023-24 Indian Super League (ISL) season. The match ignited with vigor as Scottish striker Connor Shields opened the scoring in the seventh minute, achieving his inaugural goal for the Marina Machans. Shields masterminded this pivotal play by dropping deep and luring the home team’s defense toward him. His seamless partnership with Rafael Crivellaro paved the way for Ankit Mukherjee to receive a precise pass on the right flank.
